Refund Policy – DrNancyAllen.com

​This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by Dr Nancy Allen via DrNancyAllen.com, operated by GP Direct Online Ltd. By booking a consultation, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Policy

Due to the nature of private medical services, refunds are not automatically guaranteed and are subject to the terms described in this policy. Each refund request is assessed fairly and in accordance with UK law.

2. Cancellation and Refund Eligibility

You are entitled to a refund of your consultation fee if you cancel your appointment with at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled time.

You will not be entitled to a refund if:

  • You cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice

  • You fail to attend the appointment (“no-show”)

  • You arrive more than 10 minutes late, making the consultation impractical to deliver

  • You fail to complete the required pre-appointment documentation or identity verification in time

3. Cancer Diagnosis and Exceptional Circumstances

If you cancel within 24 hours due to serious illness (e.g. active cancer), your consultation fee will remain non-refundable unless you provide documented medical evidence from a qualified healthcare provider supporting the reason for cancellation.

We reserve the right to review this evidence and, at our discretion, may offer a refund or credit.

4. Refund Process

If you meet the refund criteria:

  • Please email your request to hello@drnancyallan.co.uk

  • Include your full name, appointment details, and reason for cancellation

  • If applicable, attach any supporting medical documentation

Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 working days to your original payment method.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • ADHD assessments (if the assessment has already begun or documentation has been reviewed)

  • Consultation fees where the service has already been delivered

  • Prescription or medication costs (these are handled by the pharmacy directly)

  • Administrative fees or lab testing fees (once the service has commenced)

6. Changes and Rescheduling

You may reschedule your appointment without penalty if you provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Rescheduling within 24 hours is not permitted and will be treated as a cancellation.

7. Your Rights

This policy is designed in accordance with:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015

  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013

  • Relevant GMC guidance for private practice and remote care

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
